As you know, before mid-term vacations, MEP published some changes regarding the Tool Box, GTAs, and then incorporated the new GABs. These last ones represent the basic learning outcomes students can achieve. I would not refer to the process they followed to get to those guides, my purpose is more in the area of implementation.
Thus, what is your job as teachers?
As teachers, you should:
1. determine if all your students have accomplished the proposed learning outcomes. If students under all the scenarios did it, at least at an intermediate level, then you can proceed with a new one. Otherwise, until all your students accomplish the learning outcomes, you can move forward. What you do to help them progress is to find new ways, activities, or forms to get to arrive at the desired skill.
2. Once you are done with the first step, take the GAB given to you, and in the last column, state the link in which the administration can access your GTA. It means that you have to previously planned the GTA.
Caution note: GTAs have not suffered any change in terms of structure.
This is the link to access to I and II Cycle GABs.
Here as well, is the link for III Cycle and Diversified Cycle GABs.
Finally, I want to share with you a video that briefly reminds you of what a GAB is.
